The cottage's outdoor spaces include a large, south-facing bluestone terrace overlooking the castle grounds, and a small courtyard off the kitchen where an impressive bluestone staircase leads to the garden and a pergola-covered terrace beside a small pond. As the cottage is non-smoking, ashtrays are provided in these outdoor areas.

For loading and unloading luggage, you have access in the courtyard opposite the entrance to the gîte. Afterwards, you are asked to vacate this area and park your vehicle in Place Albert Ier, where there is a large, free public parking lot. No vehicles may be parked on the sidewalk in front of the gîte.
